Three Mini Marts are purchased in a sheriff's auction in Casper Wyoming by the Central Corporation

1970

Three additional Mini Marts stores are purchased in Cheyenne Wyoming

1973

First Loaf N Jug store opened in Fowler, Colorado - cofounded by Sam Sharp and Paul Jones

1976

Loaf 'N Jug introduces gasoline in 4 of the 5 operating stores

1978

Mini Mart expands thought the "energy belt" from southwest Wyoming to North Dakota's Williston Basin area

1979

Mini Mart introduces "good 'N Fast" foods - self serve fast food module

1980

Loaf 'N Jug introduces Sit Down Dining and ready made sandwiches. The first Loaf 'N Jug opens in the Denver area

1981

The first Loaf 'N Jug store outside of Colorado is built in New Mexico - the store offers liquor

1982

Loaf N Jug purchases a local dairy and introduces branded returnable glass bottles of milk for the stores

1984

Made to order pizza is introduced in the Loaf 'N Jug stores

1986

Loaf N Jug's 52 stores are purchased by Dillon Companies a Kroger subsidiary.

CEO Paul Jones resigns and Sam Sharp is named President and CEO

1987

Dillon Companies acquire Mini Mart Inc.

1988

Mini Mart founder Rodney Kinskey retires

Dan McMullin is named President

1996

Loaf N Jug's 95 stores are branded with total gasoline products

1997

Art Stawski joins Loaf N Jug as Vice President of Operations

1998

Mini Mart moves from unbranded to Conoco brand gasoline

Mini Mart stores are merged with Loan N Jug. The administrative operations are moved to Pueblo, Colorado

1999

Loaf N Jug stores are branded Conoco

2000

Sam Sharp retires and Art Stawski is named President of the 175 stores

2003

Loyalty Card Program is introduced partnering with King Soopers and Smiths offering 3cent a gallon savings on fuel purchases at Loaf N Jug Stores

2003/2004

A major campaign is initiated to change the interior look of stores. Counter checkouts re-merchandised to end checkouts, minor store remodels and new fresh interior image is introduced in nearly all stores including a major roll out of upgraded and new merchandising equipment and counters.

2004/2005

Loaf N Jug introduces the new Kroger C-Store image including the introduction of our own gasoline brand image with the opening of stores in Parker, Johnstown and Pueblo Colorado.

2005

Mini Mart stores are re-branded Loaf N Jug and are converted to our new corporate gasoline brand image

Loaf N Jug proprietary credit card introduced

2006

Loaf N Jug's southern region stores are converted to the new corporate gasoline brand image
